Minnow is special—he’s the first colt I’ve ever bred, and I couldn’t be more excited about this cross. He’s out of my favorite roan mare, Barracuda, who may have been cow-bred, but she was quick, catty, and a free runner on the barrels. His sire, Royal French Kiss, brings powerhouse bloodlines—he’s by PC Frenchman’s Hayday and out of a Royal Quick Dash mare.

Royal French Kiss has been killing it in competition and is also a free runner, so I’m hoping Minnow will be a freak like both his parents. He’s got all the right ingredients to be something special, and I can’t wait to see how he turns out!
